Ideal for taking on holiday as a self-catering meal, for uni students, empty nesters, new parents needing a quick meal, taking camping/caravan/motorhoming. Add meat and extra veg if you need to, although all taste good without as the herbs, spices and stock is already included in the pack.
Description:Scotch Broth Soup Mix
Ingredients: Dried Mixed Vegetables (Dehydrated potato (Sodium Metabisulphite E223), Onion, Carrot, Green and White Cabbage, Leek, Green Peas), Dried Leek Flakes (6%), Dried Red Lentils, Split Green and Yellow Peas, Lamb Stock (10%) (Water, Lamb, Garlic, Onion, Tomato, Herb Extract), Glucose Syrup, Salt, Yeast Extracts, Flavourings, Sugar, Rapeseed Oil.) Barley

Min weight of the dry ingredients in pack 150g
How to make: Empty the packet into a pan, add 1000ml of cold water. Bring it up to the boil and then reduce to a simmer. Cook for around 45 minutes until the peas and barley are soft. Add extra water if required. Season to taste.

Ingredients: Barley (73%), Dried Leeks (9%), Dried Carrot, Chicken Stock powder (9%) ((water, chicken stock, flavouring, glucose syrup, salt, yeast extract, sugar), Mild Curry Powder (Coriander, Turmeric, Cumin, Fenugreek, Cardamon, chilli powder, black pepper, Fennel), All-Spice, Black Pepper.

How to make: Empty the packet contents into a pan and add 1000ml of cold water. Stir. Bring to the boil and turn down to a simmer and cook for 45 minutes or until the barley is soft. Add extra water if required. Option to add cooked chicken. Season to taste.

How to make: Empty the packet contents into a pan, add 750ml of cold water. Bring it to the boil, turn it down to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes or until the potato has softened. Add extra water if required. Blend the soup until smooth. Season to taste.
