OUR STORY

You know that feeling when you step out into the British countryside on a crisp spring morning, the air thick with the scent of wild blossom and the gentle hum of bees? You’re surrounded by a natural larder that most people simply walk past, but you’ve always sensed there was magic hidden in those tangled branches and shaded banks. This is where your journey with Heavenly Hedgerows begins.

Founded by Chris Westgate, this award-winning artisan business was born from a lifelong passion for the forgotten flavours of the English landscape. Based in the rolling hills of Somerset, Chris doesn't just "source" ingredients; she forages them with the seasons, just as generations did before us. When you spread a dollop of Wild Plum Jam on your morning toast or drizzle Elderberry Syrup over a weekend dessert, you aren't just tasting fruit—you’re tasting the very essence of the West Country lanes.

From the zing of Wild Garlic to the deep, nostalgic glow of Hawthorn Jelly, every jar tells a story of patience. You can trust that there are no industrial shortcuts here; everything is handmade in small batches using traditional open-pan methods. Whether you are looking for a sophisticated accompaniment to a local cheeseboard or a unique gift that captures the soul of the countryside, you’ve finally found a brand that treats nature with the reverence it deserves. It’s wild, it’s sustainable, and it’s a delicious reminder that the best things in life are often found growing just over the garden gate.
