Delicious Doesn't Need to be Difficult!
A curated collection of 3 Gluten Free Spicy soup and risotto dry mixes each serving 2 portions.
The Spicy One! contains the following 3 products
Spiced Carrot and Lentil Soup Mix (GF/V)
Ingredients:
Dried Red Lentils (78%), Dried Carrots (10%), Vegetable Bouillon (salt, modified maize starch, rapeseed oil, sugar, tomato powder, natural flavouring, yeast extract (yeast extract, salt, acidity regulator (citric acid)), spinach powder, onion powder, spice extract, nutmeg, acidity regulator (citric acid), Tomato Powder, Mild Curry Powder (coriander, turmeric, cumin, fenugreek, cardamon, chilli powder, black pepper, fennel), Dried Onion, Garlic Granules and Chilli Powder
Method:
Add the packet contents to a pan with 750ml of cold water, bring to the boil then reduce to a simmer. Cook for approx. 40-45 minutes until the lentils are soft, stirring occasionally.
Blend the soup and serve with an optional swirl of cream. Season to taste.
Spicy Vegetable Soup Mix (GF/V)
Ingredients:
Dried Mixed Vegetables (39%) (dehydrated potato (preservative (sodium metabiSULPHITE), dried onion, dried carrot, dried green and white cabbage, dried leek, dried green peas), Vegetable Bouillon (salt, modified maize starch, rapeseed oil, sugar, tomato powder, natural flavouring, yeast extract (yeast extract, salt, acidity regulator (citric acid), spinach powder, onion powder, spice extract, nutmeg, acidity regulator (citric acid)), Dried Carrots, Tomato Powder (14%), Dried Red Peppers, Soft Light Brown Sugar, Dried Leeks, Flavouring, Garlic Granules, Dried Onion, Salt, Chili Powder, Ground Black Pepper
Method:
Add the packet contents to a pan with 1500ml of cold water. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and then simmer for 20-30 minutes until the vegetables are soft. Stir regularly, Top up water if required.
Season to taste.
Spicy Chicken Satay Risotto Mix (GF)
Ingredients:
Dried Arborio Rice (76%), Chicken Stock (9%) (water, chicken stock, flavouring, glucose syrup, salt, yeast extract, sugar), Satay flavour Mix (4%) (demerara sugar, dried glucose syrup, yeast extract, salt, garlic powder, cumin, coriander, chilli flakes, chilli powder, flavouring, turmeric, ginger), Tomato Powder, Dried Onion, Dried Carrots, Dried Red Peppers, Chilli Powder, Curry Powder, Ginger Powder, Turmeric, Cumin, Dried Garlic, Brown Sugar, Black Pepper.
Method:
Add the packet contents, including the stock sachet, to a pan with 650ml of cold water. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes until most of the liquid is absorbed into the rice.
Stir regularly. Season to taste. Serve on it's own, add some meat or seafood, salad and/or crusty bread.
