Organic walnut halves — raw, light golden and carefully graded
Big, intact organic walnut halves with very few pieces and no powdery dust, in the light golden colour they should be. Expect a creamy taste and a moist yet crunchy texture, with the skin left on. Walnuts are naturally rich in plant omega-3 (ALA) and provide 14.7g of protein per 100g.
Best for
- Decorating coffee and walnut cakes, brownies and other bakes where whole halves matter
- Cheeseboards, hampers and gifting
- Snacking straight from the pouch
- Salads, porridge and granola toppings
FAQ
Should I buy halves or pieces? Choose halves when looks matter — cake decoration, cheeseboards and gifts. If you are chopping them anyway, organic light walnut pieces give the same flavour at a lower price per kilo.
Why is the skin left on? The thin, flaky skin holds most of the walnut's natural phenols. It can taste slightly bitter, which is why some recipes remove it, but we recommend eating walnuts skin-on.
Is there a non-organic option? Yes — light walnuts 80% halves offer the paler premium colour grade at a lower price.
Available in 250g, 500g, 1kg, 2kg, 3kg and 10kg packs — resealable pouches on most sizes (some large sizes are non-resealable). For a single-size value pack, see Organic Walnut Halves – Stock & Bite 750g.
