Turmeric comes from the roof of the Curcuma longa plant, which grows in India and other Southeast Asian countries. This double strength powder packs a powerful punch.
It is mildly aromatic and has a warm, earthy, bitter taste with a hint of pepper, and is frequently used to flavour or colour a range of foods.
As well as being used as a culinary spice, turmeric is also used for its medicinal benefits. It contains a chemical called curcumin which is a strong antioxidant and said to have natural anti-inflammatory properties. It also has the potential to improve heart health, delay aging, improve symptoms of depression and help arthritis.

We display estimated delivery times in basket, checkout and confirmation email
At checkout we display the number of deliveries and associated costs (if any) with each shipment.
Individual vendors may offer free delivery when a minimum threshold or amount.
