All About Organic Tarragon:
Tarragon comes from dried leaves of the French Tarragon plant and is native to southern Russia and western Asia.
The pungent, bittersweet flavour of tarragon is often compared to liquorice, anise, and fennel. It’s highly aromatic and adds a fresh, spring taste and a touch of elegance to a range of recipes.
Tarragon has many impressive health benefits. It contains several vitamins and minerals including, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin B6, and folate. Tarragon is also high in flavonoids, a compound that has antioxidant effects. These are essential as they fight free radicals and oxidative stress that causes damage to cells.
Instructions for Use:
A staple for your herb and spice cupboard. Tarragon is used in a range of French, Italian and other European cuisine. Its distinctive flavour helps to season potatoes, vegetables, salads, and soups. It’s also a key ingredient for certain sauces such as green goddess, aioli, and pesto.
