All About Organic Senna Leaf Tea:

Senna leaves comes from a shrub that grows in Africa, India, and some other parts of the world.

For centuries, Senna leaves and fruit have been used as a herbal remedy for constipation and to aid digestive issues such as IBS. Senna contains many chemicals called sennosides. These sennosides irritate the lining of the bowel, which causes a laxative effect.

Additionally, some people use Senna leaves as a weight loss supplement or to make a healthy, aromatic herbal tea.

Suitable for a Vegan & Vegetarian diet

Instructions for Use: 

Senna Leaves are most well known for their alternative medicinal properties and are said to aid digestive health and bowel movements. Boil some water, add the Senna leaves, cover the pot, and allow them to steep for 8-10 minutes. Add sugar or honey if desired.

Storage Instructions: 

Store in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat and damp.
