Long pepper powder, sometimes known as Indian long pepper, is made from a flowering vine which is cultivated for its fruit, which is then dried and ground into this spice.
It has a similar but more complex taste to black pepper, it is spicier, less musky with more aromatic qualities.
Long pepper is also used, sometimes in combination with other herbs, to make herbal medicine. It’s used to improve appetite and digestion, treating stomach-ache, heartburn, indigestion, intestinal gas, and diarrhoea.
Instructions for Use:
Long Pepper is a spice that has a sharp, hot, and sweet taste. You can grind them up and put them in a range of sweet and savoury dishes including soups, stews, and curries, as well as baked goods and desserts.
Storage Instructions:
Store in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat and damp.

Because we're a marketplace with many different venfors, the items in your basket may come from multiple warehouse locations, in more than one shipment.
We attempt to make this clear to you throughout the process via the following
On each product page we show the vendor details, the estimated shipping and delivery dates and the shopping cost for a given product.
We display estimated delivery times in basket, checkout and confirmation email
At checkout we display the number of deliveries and associated costs (if any) with each shipment.
Individual vendors may offer free delivery when a minimum threshold or amount. If so, this is messaged in the lime green shipping and delivery information just below the buy buttons on a product page. ArtisanBox at a store level offers free delivery on any basket of products valued at over £75 (excl. shipping charges) using code FREEDEL at checkout.
Subscriptions
We offer Subscribe & Save subscriptions on many products to make it easy for you to repurchase your favourites. There are no minimum order requirements and subscriptions are fully manageable through the subscriptions tab in your account. Subscriptions can be cancelled or paused at anytime.
