Organic ground linseed (milled flaxseed) — ready to absorb
Linseed's goodness sits behind a tough shell that mostly survives digestion — whole seeds can pass straight through. Milling solves it: this organic linseed is ground to a coarse powder so your body can actually reach the omega-3 (ALA), lignans and 24.4g fibre per 100g. Subtle and nutty; it disappears into anything.
Best for
- Flax eggs for vegan baking — 1 tbsp ground linseed + 3 tbsp water per egg
- The effortless daily spoonful in porridge, yoghurt or smoothies
- Baking into bread, muffins and crackers
- Anyone who never gets round to grinding their own
FAQ
Ground or whole — which should I buy? Ground for convenience and absorption; whole brown or golden if you prefer to grind fresh — whole seeds keep longer.
How much per day? Build up gradually to 1–2 tablespoons spread through the day, with plenty of fluids.
How should I store it? Milled linseed is delicate — airtight, cool and dark, and refrigerate once opened for longest freshness.
Packs run from 500g up to a 20kg trade sack — better price per kilo as you scale, and WFE Club members get trade pricing.
