What is Organic Arrowroot?
Arrowroot is used as starch and thickener in sauces and soups. It is also a great wheat replacement in gluten-free baking recipes.
Arrowroot is not technically a plant in itself, but rather a type of starch that can be readily obtained from the roots of numerous different plants and rhizomes.
Arrowroot is also gluten-free which makes it all the more valuable today with the rising incidence of celiac disease in many countries.
Why Should I Get Organic Arrowroot?
Organic Arrowroot has been extensively used in traditional Indian medicine as an antidote to poison. Arrowroot is known to treat iodine poisoning by chemically converting the poisonous iodine to a harmless iodine salt.
The extract of arrowroot boosts immunity and prevent you from falling prey to diseases.
Compared to other starches, arrowroot is believed to be the easiest to digest.
