Famous for their nutty flavour and delightfully chewy texture, oat groats are an amazing source of fibre and complex carbohydrates, which will leave you feeling full and energised.
Why Should I Get Oat Groats ?
An especially cereal crop, oats are closed in two hard husks that must be removed before the grain is ready to be eaten. To make it easier to remove these two outer hulls, the oats are cleaned and briefly toasted using dry heat. This toasting also stabilises the grain and prevents it from becoming rancid by deactivating lipase, a bitter-tasting enzyme. What remains is a whole grain groat, which has the fibre-rich bran, nutritious germ, and the endosperm, which comprises the bulk of the grain.
With their hearty, chewy texture and nutty flavour, oat groats are great for grain bowls, salads, stews, and hot cereal. Grind into fresh oat flour with a home mill to create wonderful baked goods.

Delivery + Shipping
Because we're a marketplace with many different vendors, the items in your basket may come from multiple warehouse locations, in more than one shipment.
We attempt to make this clear to you throughout the process via the following:
On each product page we show the vendor details, the estimated shipping and delivery dates and the shopping cost for a given product.
We display estimated delivery times in basket, checkout and confirmation email
At checkout we display the number of deliveries and associated costs (if any) with each shipment.
Individual vendors may offer free delivery when a minimum threshold or amount. If so, this is messaged in the lime green shipping and delivery information just below the buy buttons on a product page. ArtisanBox at a store level offers free delivery on any basket of products valued at over £100 (excl. shipping charges) using code FREEDEL at checkout.
