A bacon, made from cheek and jowl of pork, guanciale has a concentrated savouriness and a fat content that is unlike all others of the bacon breed.
Ours is made to our Great Taste 2 Star pancetta recipe, aged for at least two months to further concentrate the flavour, and because a little goes a long way, it is sliced into the merest slivers, which make exceptional pizza, canape and salad toppings, as well as providing authenticity to the aforementioned carbonara.
Cooking tip: These slices cook quick. To get them rendered and crisped to their fullest potential, start them in a cold pan and watch them like a hawk. It is the work of moments.

We attempt to make this clear to you throughout the process via the following:
On each product page we show the vendor details, the estimated shipping and delivery dates and the shopping cost for a given product.
We display estimated delivery times in basket, checkout and confirmation email
At checkout we display the number of deliveries and associated costs (if any) with each shipment.
Individual vendors may offer free delivery when a minimum threshold or amount. If so, this is messaged in the lime green shipping and delivery information just below the buy buttons on a product page. ArtisanBox at a store level offers free delivery on any basket of products valued at over £100 (excl. shipping charges) using code FREEDEL at checkout.
Subscriptions
We offer Subscribe & Save subscriptions on many products to make it easy for you to repurchase your favourites. There are no minimum order requirements and subscriptions are fully manageable through the subscriptions tab in your account. Subscriptions can be cancelled or paused at anytime.
