When Davinder passed away, Baj found solace in the recipes he left behind. In Christmas 2014, while facing a lean festive season, she decided to honour his memory by recreating his signature spicy tomato sauce. She bottled eleven jars for friends and family, and the response was electric. By the time the last cracker was pulled, everyone was clamouring for more.
In 2015, Baj’s Blazin’ Hot Sauce officially launched at Greenwich Market. What began as a heartfelt tribute to her father has evolved into a vibrant, female-owned family business run alongside her sister, Jot. The range has since expanded to include varieties like "Mum’s Mango" and the fiery "Family Fire," with each bottle named after a loved one to keep their heritage at the forefront.
Today, Baj’s Blazin’ represents more than just heat; it represents twenty-five years of family tradition and the joy of sharing a meal. Hand-crafted in small batches within the UK, these sauces bring a punch of authentic, soulful flavour to every plate. From a humble kitchen in Greenwich to dinner tables across the country, the brand remains a testament to the legacy of a father’s cooking and a daughter’s spice-filled ambition.
