Ideal for taking on holiday as a self-catering meal, for uni students, empty nesters, new parents, taking camping/caravan/motorhoming. Add meat and extra veg if you need to, although all taste good without as the herbs, spices and stock is already included in the pack.

To make: Brown 125g minced beef, drain excess fat and add packet to pan with 750ml of cold water and a 200ml can of chopped tomatoes. Bring to boil, reduce the heat and then simmer for 1hr 15 mins stirring regularly. Suitable for slow cooker with other meat cuts. Add more water as required during cooking.

Cawl - Welsh Lamb Stew Mix
Ingredients: Dried Barley (23%), Dried Mixed Vegetables (14%) (Dehydrated potato, Preservative Sodium Metabisulphite)), Onion, Carrot, Green and White Cabbage, Leek, Green Peas), Lamb Stock Powder (14%) Lamb Stock (Water, Lamb, Garlic, Onion, Tomato, Herb Extract), Glucose Syrup, Salt, Yeast Extracts, Flavourings, Sugar, Rapeseed Oil. Vegetable Bouillon (Salt, Modified Maize Starch, Rapeseed Oil, Sugar, Tomato Powder, Natural Flavouring, Yeast Extract (Yeast Extract, Salt, Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid)), Spinach Powder, Onion Powder, Spice Extract, Nutmeg, Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid), Dried Carrot, Dried Leeks (3%), Dried Parsley.

To make: Brown 150g of diced lamb. Add the contents of the packet mix into a casserole dish and add the lamb. Add 750ml of cold water. Stir, cover and cook in a preheated oven at 200˚ (fan-assisted 180) for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Optional - sprinkle grated cheese on top and grill until brown. Season to taste.

Suitable for cooking in a slow cooker.

Moroccan Tagine Soup Mix (GF/V) - when cooked this goes quite thick a little like a stew
Ingredients: Dried Quinoa, Dried Yellow Split Peas, Dried Gluten-Free Pasta (Corn flour, Rice Flour, Water, Emulsifier (Mono- and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids), Vegetable Bouillon (Salt, Modified Maize Starch, Rapeseed Oil, Sugar, Tomato Powder, Natural Flavouring, Yeast Extract (Yeast Extract, Salt, Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid)), Spinach Powder, Onion Powder, Spice Extract, Nutmeg, Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid), Ras-El-Hanout (Paprika, Sugar, Cumin Seeds, Coriander Seeds, Salt, Cassia Cinnamon, Crushed Chillies, Fennel Seeds, Cardamom, Pimento, Onion Powder, Black Pepper, Pink Peppercorns, Black Onion Seeds, Mace, Ginger, Nutmeg, Star Anise, Turmeric, Cloves, Galangal) (4%), Dried Onions, Paprika, Ginger Powder, Pepper.

To make: Add the packet contents to 750ml of cold water in a pan. Add a 200ml can of chopped tomatoes and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 60 minutes until the peas are soft. Stir frequently. Top up water to the original level whilst cooking if required. Optional extras - add pre-cooked chicken/lamb/seafood, sliced carrot, 1 x pepper, and cubed butternut squash.
Season to taste.
