Revered by meat connoisseurs and chefs alike, our Trimmed Rib of Beef* roasting joint is perhaps the ultimate celebratory centrepiece. Prepared from the prime rib section of the forequarter, Trimmed Rib of Beef is packed with depth of flavour thanks to the high levels of natural marbling.
Visually stunning due to the French trimmed rib bones extending from the joint, the bone being an important detail, ensuring even cooking and moisture retention, whilst also maximising flavour. The chine bone is removed by our team of expert butchers, to ensure easy carving at the table.

The ArtisanBox Difference:
-
Hand-Butchered: Each joint is prepared to order by master butchers, ensuring a perfect shape for even cooking.
-
Dry-Aged for Flavour: Developed for a rich, "beefy" finish that stands up to the boldest horseradish.
-
Lean & Versatile: The ideal cut for those who prefer a tidy, easy-to-carve roast without heavy fat

👨🍳 CHEF’S SECRET TIP To keep those stunning French-trimmed bones white and pristine, wrap the exposed bone ends in a little foil before roasting. This prevents them from charring in the high heat while the fat cap renders into a golden, salty crust. Pro Tip: Remove the roast from the oven 5°C before your target temperature. The bone-in rib retains massive amounts of heat and will continue to cook as it rests. |
