What Is Ground Rice?

Ground Rice is made from rice, and it is not as powdery as rice flour. Ground Rice is coarser and is suitable for people following a gluten-free diet.

Why Should I Get Ground Rice ?

Ground rice and rice flour are two different things, in case you were wondering.

Rice flour is finely ground, whereas ground rice is coarser. They also have a very different texture and due to this, they are also cooked differently.

Rice itself is a highly nutritious food; most varieties contain a high amount of carbohydrates and protein. The fibre content varies according to types of rice.  Because ground rice comes directly from pure rice, it contains all the same nutritional benefits.

Ground Rice is quite popular in pudding dishes, mostly as an alternative to semolina for those who do not eat wheat. 

Storage Instructions:

Store in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat and damp. Reseal when no longer in use or move to an airtight container.
