Charlotte took the plunge in 2020, determined to elevate the humble marshmallow to grown-up status, testing (and eating) hundreds of batches from her own kitchen before Kensal Sugar Kitchen was picnic and party-ready. Every marshmallow is hand-cut and hand-packed in small batches, gluten, egg and dairy free, in flavours from passionfruit and rose to chunky pistachio and chocolate orange. The brand has since appeared on ITV's James Martin's Saturday Kitchen and become a regular at weddings, dinners and celebrations across London.
