Made from 100% cow's milk, salt, rennet and chilli flakes.
You can simply grill it, BBQ, or stuff it on top of portobello mushroom.
Can be served raw or grilled.

About the Brand
Yorkshire Dama Cheese: A Journey of Resilience, Artistry, and Recognition
In 2012, our family arrived in Yorkshire, seeking a fresh start after the war in Syria. With three young children, we were determined to build a future despite leaving nearly everything behind. Though I had a background in microbiology from the Medical Institute in Syria, I hadn’t been able to complete my pharmaceutical degree, and finding work in the UK proved challenging. Inspired by Yorkshire’s rich, high-quality milk and the UK’s growing love for halloumi-style cheese—a staple from our Syrian breakfasts—I decided to create something meaningful here.
With only £2,500 from a start-up loan, we founded Yorkshire Dama Cheese in 2014. From the very beginning, our cheeses have been artisan-made with love and care, combining the rich flavors of Yorkshire’s milk with traditional Syrian techniques. Just four months into production, our cheese won the World Cheese Award Bronze Prize—the first of over 65 prestigious awards we’ve been honored with, including Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals across the World Cheese Awards, International Cheese Awards, and British Cheese Awards, as well as Best Cheese in Yorkshire.
A proud moment came when HRH The Princess Royal attended the grand opening of our factory. Our story and cheeses have since been featured by celebrated chefs, including James Martin, The Hairy Bikers, and Prue Leith.
Today, Yorkshire Dama Cheese represents resilience, quality, and a blend of cultures. Each piece is crafted with dedication, combining Yorkshire ingredients with Syrian artistry. We’re proud to share our journey and award-winning cheeses with you—bringing together the best of both worlds in every bite.
