Based on the coast of North Cornwall, Norton Barton Artisan Village is a home to Cornish Charcuterie, Popti Cornish Bakehouse, Whalesborough Cheeses and The Cornish Distilling Co. Owned by Richard and Fionagh Harding, Norton Barton Farm was granted Food Enterprise Zone (FEZ) status in 2015, making it one of only two FEZ’s in Cornwall, and the only Artisan Food Village in the UK.
Cornish Charcuterie was founded in 2011 and is an award-winning artisan producer of British Charcuterie founded by Richard and Fionagh Harding and supplies an award-winning range of both soft and hard British Charcuterie including salami, pates, and rillettes. In our view, our featured product, the Cornish Charcuterie Wild Boar Rillette is absolutely stunning. The rillette is mouth-wateringly fully-flavoured as one would expect from wild boar subtly supported by notes of capers, apricots and mustard. It’s an outstanding accompaniment to strong cheese, eaten on its own with bread or as one person at ArtisanBox did, used it as a base for an extremely decadent baguette!
